1stHenfield Scout Group’s Adur Cub Pack has been based very successfully at Jolesfield School in Partridge Green since the end of 2024. Having reformed in 2017 as our second Cub Pack in Henfield, and originally with a leader and some cubs from the the closed 1st Partridge Green Group as well as new Henfield Cubs,  it’s appropriate that the section is now back and operating in Partridge Green and continues to grow with cubs from both Henfield and Partridge Green communities.

Recently working for their community impact badge and skills badges, the Cubs have been out litter collecting around the village. There trip was successful and collected amounts of litter from around Partridge Green and had great fun in doing so. 
In addition to litter picking the Cubs have also been working on their environment and DIY badges, and recently make bird boxes, with some going up at Jolesfield School. The Cubs were very pleased to see some of their boxes are now occupied with first time tenants.
So it’s very rewarding for Cubs and Leaders alike to see the Cubs delivering real benefit to our communities, so a massive well done to Cubs and  leaders alike.”
