1st Henfield Beaver Summer Beaver Camp 2025 is complete!
The camp would absolutely not have been possible without our amazing team of volunteers who, once again gave up their time (and sleep 😬😅) to ensure the Beavers not only had a great time but were also making sure they were staying cool and safe 👏👏
We were really lucky to be supported by some fabulous parents this time, and a huge Thank You to you all for working so hard in the heat!
Special mention to the team who made dinner for everyone, the temperature was around 30 degrees outside, but they were in a kitchen with the commercial oven going plus 2 large airfryers, the urn and very little room!!! A mammoth effort and it was very much appreciated!!!
Another Thank You has to go to the Beavers themselves, they coped with the heat really well and although everyone was getting a little cranky late in the afternoon (including me!!) they were great. They got stuck into all the activities, were polite and on the whole pretty well behaved!!
We’re so proud of those who managed to stay, even though there were wobbles, hopefully they are proud of themselves too!
So, that’s it! We know they had a good time and want to do it again……….
