Earlier in a June we posted how one of our Cub Packs helped at the Henfield Community Orchard.
This week our linked Explorer Scout unit – made up of 14-17 year olds had their session at the orchard and conducted weeding and some general maintenance in the very warm evening sun.
Everyone had a great time and enjoyed seeing the results of their work and the benefit that had for this community area.
There is of course more work and intend more sections to visit and continue the work over the coming months
