For several years, 1st Henfield Scout Group have been supporting Sistainable Henfield 2030, Henfield Conservation Volunteers with the upkeep of the Henfield Orchard, that was planted in 2021 as part of HM Queen Elizabeth’s II Green Canopy.
Tonight some of our Cubs supported that project with weeding around some of the trees. These Cubs, have been helping here since Beavers as part of the Big Help
out, so it’s great to see them helping the community and environment.
Over the next few months we hope other sections from the Group and Explorers will be helping to look after this oasis.
