Following on from the Scouts trip to Bentley Copse Activity Centre and the Surrey Scouts Frost camp – today came the clean up!
Coinciding with what seems like the first day it hasn’t rained in 2026 and the spotting of a stange yellow thing in a oddly blue sky, team members from across the teams within the Group, parents and some young people came together to tidy and clean all the kit.
Tents, mess tent, pots , pans, tables, benches, burners and lots beside all had a splatting of the finest Surrey’s Hills mud which was duly removed, cleaned and is either put away or drying before it is put away.
So thank you to all that helped, and we are now ready to commence camping again👍
