On Wednesday the 1st July, 1st Henfield Beavers from both Lakeside and Riversedge Colonies and Squirrels from our new Kings Squirrel Drey went to Henfield’s community orchard to volunteer to keep vegetation in check
They worked to weed around trees and helped to stop the fern encroachment.
The Squirrles and Beavers had a great time seeing what they achieved and badges were earnt in the process.
The orchard is part of Queen Elizabeth II green canopy and 1st Henfield have been helping in support of King Charles III Great Help Out.
